Louisiana Ragin' Cajun senior right tackle Grant Horst has been nominated for one of the most prestigious off the field awards in college football, the 2017 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.

The team is made up of a standout collection of college football players who bestow a dedication to volunteering and improving the lives of others.

Horst, who earn his degree in marketing last spring, played in 11 games last season for the Cajuns, and has played in 28 since arriving on campus as a redshirt freshmen in 2013.

As a multi-time member of the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll list, Horst is already a member of the 2017-18 Sun Belt Conference Leadership Team.

Horst's play on the field is solid, while his life off the field is commendable.
