Louisiana Ragin' Cajun right guard Kevin Dotson is one of the strongest individuals I've ever met.

I've asked Louisiana head coach Billy Napier and strength coach Mark Hocke if Dotson is the strongest player on the team, and while they didn't answer "yes" right away, I was able to get them to admit no player on the team is stronger than Dotson.

When I asked Dotson himself if anyone on the Cajuns was stronger than him, he replied, "No sir."

It was announced today the strong senior from Plaquemine is heading to a postseason college all-star game to showcase his talent for pro scouts.

Dotson, a 2018 First Team All-Sun Belt selection, has been selected to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl in St. Petersburg, Florida on January 18th.

Formerly called the East-West Shrine Game, the game has been played on an annual basis since 1925.

In addition to players getting to play for NFL scouts, the Bowl is for a great cause.

It benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children, with the mission to provide advanced care for children with specialized medical needs.
