A talented Louisiana prep standout has committed to play his college football for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

Caleb Anderson, a dual-threat quarterback from East Feliciana High School in Jackson, Louisiana, issued a verbal pledge to Louisiana on Sunday.

247Sports ranks the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Anderson, who also projects as a receiver and defensive back, as the country's No. 47 athlete recruit and No. 36 prospect overall in the state of Louisiana.

Anderson is scheduled to graduate high school next spring.

Other schools who also reportedly offered Anderson include Virginia, Arkansas St. Army, Lamar, Utah, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Air Force, Tulane, ULM, Navy, and Louisiana Tech.
