Pujols Leaves Cards, Agrees to Angels Contract
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will be the new home of St. Louis Cardinals' slugger Albert Pujols.
Pujols has agreed to a ten-year, $250 million dollar contract to switch over to the American League. The contract includes a full no-trade clause, something Pujols was insisting upon and which may have been a sticking point to negotiations with the Cardinals and the Miami
Marlins.
But Pujols wasn't the only big name the Angels signed.
Texas Rangers lefty C. J. Wilson agreed to a five year deal worth 77.5 million dollars.
Both are 31 years old.
