Projections Have Cajuns’ Baseball Headed to Oxford

Both Baseball America and D1Baseball have released their latest NCAA Baseball Regional Projections...and both agree if the bids were handed out today, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns would be headed to Oxford, MS.  And, both agree California and Southeast Missouri State would be joining them.

South Alabama is also listed as a #2 seed.  D1Baseball projects the Jaguars to be in Tallahassee with Florida State, Alabama and Jacksonville, while Baseball America says the Jags are Gainesville bound with Florida, Clemson and Monmouth.

Both agree there will be three other Louisiana schools in the field:

D1Baseball has LSU as a #2 seed in Hattiesburg with Southern Miss, Wake Forest and Southeastern La.  Baseball America has the Tigers in Stillwater with Oklahoma State, BYU and Kent State.  Baseball America has SLU as the #3 seed in Hattiesburg with Virginia and Jacksonville.

Tulane will be a #2 seed according to both sites with the Green Wave projected by D1Baseball to be in Starkville with Mississippi State, Arizona State and Alabama State, while Baseball America suggests the Wave might be in Louisville with Long Beach State and Wright State.
