Prep Trio From Thrive Academy Visit UL Football

Three prep football players from Thrive Academy, a high school in Baton Rouge, recently visited the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

Quarterback/receiver/defensive back Nathaniel Poindexter, defensive end Alvin Johnson, and defensive end/linebacker Davion Kibodeaux all paid Louisiana a visit.

The 5-foot-8, 150-pound Poindexter and the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Kibodeaux are both juniors, while the 6-foot-4, 255-pound Johnson is currently a senior.

A Class A football school, Thrive Academy is playing its first year of varsity football in District 6-1A.
