The Pittsburgh Pirates clinched a 2014 Major League Baseball postseason spot on Tuesday evening, defeating the Atlanta Braves, 3-2.

Pittsburgh, who is 86-71, clinched a wild-card berth, but can still win the National League Central. They currently trail the St. Louis Cardinals by only one-and-a-half games with five games remaining.

The Pirates, who qualified for the postseason for the 11th time in franchise history, will be making their second-consecutive trip to the postseason, after missing out from 1993-2012.
