New Orleans Pelicans rookie guard Frank Jackson has likely played his final game of the season.

In last night's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, Jackson took a hit to the head shortly after scoring his 20th point of the game. He was taken to the locker room and entered concussion protocol.

Jackson now enters a return-to-participation process as part of the NBA concussion protocol. Before he can be cleared for basketball activity, Jackson must display conclusive symptom free behavior of concussions.

There is no specific timetable for a return, as recovery time varies from case to case.

With only 6 games left in the regular season, Pelican fans may not see Jackson in action until next season.
