New Orleans Pelicans rookie guard Frank Jackson hasn't suited up for an NBA game. His latest surgery will keep him on the shelf for the remainder of the season.

Jackson, 19, successfully underwent successful scar tissue removal, debridement and injection to his right foot, the team announced today.

New Orleans traded for Jackson on draft night after he was selected 31st overall by the Charlotte Hornets.

He slid on the draft board due to a foot surgery he underwent last May. He then required a second surgery on the foot a few months later.
