New Orleans Pelicans guard Bryce Dejean-Jones has signed a 3 year contract, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical, with a partial guarantee for year 2, giving Dejean-Jones a roster spot for the remainder of the season.

Dejean-Jones was released by the Pelicans following training camp, but the undrafted rookie out of Iowa State made enough of an impression to earn a pair of 10 day contracts after New Orleans guard Eric Gordon broke his finger.

New Orleans elected to wait through the All-Star break before signing Dejean-Jones to the deal, giving them flexibility during the trade deadline.

However, the Pelicans only made one move at the deadline (albeit a small one), leaving the door open for Dejean-Jones to return.
