The New Orleans Pelicans had a so-so week last week as they went 1-2. They got out to a hot start by defeating the Mavericks in Dallas in a close game but then failed to score 100 points for the first time since February 12th in losses to OrlandoMagic and the Houston Rockets.

Despite the 1-2 record, last week New Orleans rose in the Weekly Power Rankings from 23rd to 22nd and they're 31-44.

  1. Milwaukee Bucks (55-19)-Up one from 2
  2. Golden State Warriors (50-23)-Down one from 1 
  3. Houston Rockets (47-27)-Steady at 3
  4. Denver Nuggets (46-22)-Up one from 5
  5. Toronto Raptors (51-23)-Down one from 4

This week New Orleans has three games all of which are in the friendly confines of the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans as the kick off the week on Tuesday as they face the Atlanta Hawks (26-48). Then, on Thursday they take on the Sacramento Kings (36-37) and finally they play host to the Los Angeles Lakers (32-41) on Sunday to finish out the week.
