New Orleans Saints suspended head coach Sean Payton, suspended general manager Mickey Loomis, and suspended assistant coach Joe Vitt, have been granted permission from the NFL to attend Sunday's game when the Saints host the San Diego Chargers. Quarterback Drew Brees is expected to surpass (currently tied at 47) Johnny Unitas' NFL record of consecutive regular-season games with a touchdown pass at 48. The record has stood since 1960.

Brees sent a request to the NFL league office asking that the three men be allowed to attend so they could witness the record-breaking moment.
