Patrick Murphy Does About-Face, Will Remain at Alabama

On Friday, LSU had a press conference, introducing Patrick Murphy as their new softball coach.

Today, LSU released a statement saying it's back to the drawing board.

Murphy, who won over 700 games as coach of the Crimson Tide, was to have been paid $225,000 a year.  He has been the head coach at Alabama for 13 seasons.

LSU says the new search will begin immediately.
