Just ten months ago, Oklahoma State commemorated the 10th anniversary of the plane crash that killed two men's basketball players, four team personnel, two radio announcers and two pilots.

Now, tragedy has hit the OSU family again.

Women's basketball coach Kurt Budke and assistant Miranda Serna both died last night when their single engine plane crashed about 40 miles west of Little Rock, AR.

The 50-year old Budke had just opened his seventh season as the Cowgirl's coach.  He came to Stillwater from Louisiana Tech.  Serna came with Budke to OSU from Tech, where she was described by her boss as an outstanding recuiter and a "rising star."

Budke is survived by his wife and three children.
