OCHS Two-Sport Star Keon Coleman Receives Offer From State School

Arguably the best two-sport athlete in the area, and one of the best in the best in the state, recently received another basketball offer from a state school.

Keon Coleman, a standout in both football and basketball at Opelousas Catholic, received a scholarship offer from UNO.

A 6-foot-3 guard in basketball, Coleman has also reportedly received offers from Coastal Carolina, Nicholls St., and McNeese, while receiving interest from many others, including Louisiana.

On the football side, Coleman, a safety, has been looked at closely by Tulane, Northwestern State, Nicholls State, Southeastern, UNO, & South Alabama, who have all  shown serious interest, as well as UL.

Coleman will begin his junior year in the fall, and is scheduled to graduate in 2021.
