Northwest’s Lane Bias Offered By Midwest School

A local standout has received a football offer from a school in the midwest portion of the United States.

Lane Bias, of Northwest High School in Opelousas, has received an offer from Cornell College, located in Mount Vernon, Iowa.

Cornell College is a Division III school, which do not offer athletic scholarships, but they can offer spots of their respective rosters.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Bias, who is listed as an athlete, plays both running back and defensive back for Northwest.

Bias is scheduled to graduate high school next spring.
