Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns freshman pitcher Nick Lee has been named a freshman All-American by Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball.

Lee, a native of Longville, posted a 7-1 record during the season with a 3.31 ERA.  The right hander allowed just 69 hits in 87 innings of work, holding opponents to a .219 batting average.  He struck out 75 batters on the season.

It's the latest honor for the 6-5. 195 lb. Lee, who was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year prior to the Sun Belt Tournament in San Marcos, TX.  He was credited with seven quality starts on the season.
