The Associated Press acquired an infamous e-mail that convicted felon Mike Ornstein sent the Saints coaching staff when he was in prison last September. The e-mail has been cited by the NFL as an important piece of evidence in the "bountygate" investigation. As has been the norm, the NFL and the accused players definitively disagree on the context of Ornstein's e-mail, in which he references putting $5,000 on (Aaron) Rodgers.

Ornstein claims his "bounties" were a running joke with the organization, and added that he couldn't possibly be serious about paying a bonus, considering he was locked up in prison.
