Just when everyone thought the NFL lockout might be in its last days, it appears as though talks have stalled.

According to sources, players are accusing owners of going back on a proposal that would have given players a straight 48 percent of revenues.

Those sources say owners now want to take 400-500 million dollars for "expenses" off the top.  The players say that would reduce their share to 45 percent which is unacceptable.

The longer the lockout goes, the tougher it will be for rookies to make an impact.  Not only can teams not sign their draft picks, but those players do not yet have play books to study.
