The New Orleans Saints players who were punished for their alleged role in "bountygate" have won their appeals, thus lifting their suspensions.

The Burbank appeals panel hearing the case of current Saints Jonathan Vilma (pictured left) and Will Smith, along with former Saints Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove, threw out the suspensions of each player, making them eligible.

Vilma just tweeted "Victory is mine!!!! -stewie griffin".

The Times Picayune is reporting that the Burbank panel remanded the case back to NFL Commissoner Roger Goodell for him to redetermine an appropriate penalty.
