The latest Madden video game was released on Tuesday, and the Madden NFL '16 player rankings have stirred up a debate among gamers and football fans alike.

Unsurprisingly, quarterback Drew Brees leads the pack with a 95 rating, which is third best among all quarterback ratings behind Aaron Rodgers (99) and Tom Brady (97).

Jairus Byrd, who remains on the PUP list and spent most of last season on IR comes in ranked second best with 91, as did star punter Thomas Morstead.

At first glance, my prediction is wide receiver Brandin Cooks will see his number jump by the end of the season. 82 is a fair ranking based on his rookie season, but fans are in store for a season full of highlights from Mr. Cooks.
