The New Orleans Saints have announced the signing, or I guess we could say re-signing, of wide receiver Joe Morgan to a one-year deal.

The move is a bit of a head-scratcher considering the team cut the speedy wide receiver last December. This after Morgan was suspended two games earlier in the 2014 season for violating unspecified team rules.

But, when you're a team that lost two of the most explosive players on offense in Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills, you could stand to gain a little something.

Morgan is a deep threat as he has averaged 33.6 yards a reception in his up and down four-year career with the Black & Gold.
