With the 2013 season approaching, fans of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will have familiar voices in familiar places for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Radio Network.

All affiliate radio stations on the network and the broadcast team will remain intact for the 2013 season.

Once again KPEL (ESPN1420) will serve as the flagship station with 100,.000 watt KHXT-FM (Hot 107.9) as a Lafayette affiliate.

Other stations on the network include WGSO (990 AM) New Orleans, KTUX (98.9 FM) Shreveport, KLCL (1470 AM Lake Charles), KJEF (1290 AM Jennings) and KRJO (1680 AM, Monroe.)

ESPN1420 will go on the air two hours prior to kickoff, with the rest of the network joining the broadcast one hour prior to the start of the game.

And, the broadcast team will return intact as well.

Jay Walker begins his 22nd season as part of the radio team and will handle play-by-play duties.  Steve Peloquin begins his 12th season and second as sideline reporter.  Former Ragin' Cajuns football player and assistant coach Gerald Broussard begins his second season as color commentator. Scott Prather will anchor pregame, halftime and postgame festivities.

The Cajuns open the season Saturday, August 31 at Arkansas.  The ESPN1420 broadcast begins at 1pm, with the network pregame starting at 2pm.
