Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic both won their semifinal matches at Wimbledon in 4 sets. Much to the dismay of the local British fans, Nadal eliminated Andy Murray 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-4. Djokovic, who replaced Nadal as the No. 1 ranked player with his win today, defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6 (4), 6-2, 6-7 (9), 6-3. Djokovic will meet Nadal in the Wimbledon final on Sunday. Djokovic, who improved his record to 47-1 this year and is a two-time Australian Open champion, will replace Nadal as the top-ranked player on Monday. Reaching the final at the All England Club was a relief after losing twice at the same stage.

This Wimbledon final has a chance to be epic. Can it match the Federer vs. Nadal final in 2008? No. So maybe "epic" is too strong a word. However, the two best players in the world right now are playing for the most prestigious grand slam trophy in tennis. It doesn't get much better than that.
