A Louisiana prep basketball standout recently gave a verbal commitment to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

The Advertiser's Tim Buckley alerted us to the commitment:

The 6-foot-3 Wilson, who was also reportedly offered by the likes of Arkansas St., Louisiana Tech, and Iowa St., will graduate in 2019, and will be eligible to play for Louisiana next season.

Wilson, who a lot of people consider the best high school senior in the state of Louisiana, averaged 20 points, to go along with 11 assists-per-game as a junior last season, while being named the Class 2A Most Valuable Player in 2017-2018.
