Here is my Harris Poll vote for October 14.  BTW, the first BCS Standings are tonight, to be released at 7:30.

1. Alabama

2. Oregon

3. Kansas State

4. Notre Dame

5. Florida

With apologies to Oregon St., Mississippi State, Louisville and the others, these are the unbeatens deserving to be ranked at the top.

6. LSU

7. South Carolina

8. Florida State

9. Oklahoma

10. Oregon State

LSU bounced back with a huge win and deserves to be ranked the highest of the once-beaten teams, just ahead of the team they beat in a tight game.  Florida State, Oklahoma, and Oregon State all move up two spots.

11. West Virginia

12. USC

13. Georgia

14. Clemson

15. Mississippi State

I think 11-14 all have more losses coming which could bode well for the Bulldogs, although Alabama and LSU are waiting in the wings for the Dogs.

16. Stanford

17. Louisville

18. Texas A&M

19. Texas

20 TCU

I kept Texas in my top 25 (I had them 8th last week) because of who they've lost to.  They may or may not last another week.  I didn't move Stanford despite their loss to Notre Dame.  Texas A&M enters my poll for the first time and I ranked them ahead of several schools because, at least offensively, they pass the eye test.  Johnny Manziel is a star.

21. Cincinnati

22. Rutgers

23. WKU

24. Ohio

25. Boise State

The last five are identical from a week ago.  WKU gets the nod over UL and ULM because their only loss is to the #1 team in the nation.  They've got a big one against ULM this week in Bowling Green.

Dropped out:  Louisiana Tech (#20)

Saw a tweet last night that suggested anyone who dropped Tech out of the Top 25 was crazy.

Ok, I'm crazy.
