Louisiana's 37-24 win over Troy in its Sun Belt Conference opener has led to two Cajuns being honored by the league for their performances.

Senior CB Jemarlous Moten and senior PK/P Brett Baer have been named Defensive player and Special Teams player of the week, respectively.

Moten had a career high twelve tackles in the game and returned a fumble 56 yards to give the Cajuns the lead for good.

Baer won the special teams award for the second straight week.  The Brandon, MS senior was 3-3 in field goal attempts, setting a new conference record for consecutive field goals made (Cole Wilson ULM, 2006-07).  Baer also had a career long 69 yard punt and had four punts downed inside the 20.

Kolton Browning of Louisiana-Monroe was named the Offensive Player of the week after leading ULM to a 34-31 upset of then-eighth ranked Arkansas.

The Cajuns travel to Oklahoma State this Saturday for a non conference game.  Kickoff is set for 11:00am.
