The postseason magic continues for Mississippi State.

Luke Alexander's RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Bulldogs to a 1-0 win over Washington at the College World Series at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha NE Saturday night.

The Bulldogs opened the ninth with back to back singles.  An attempted sacrifice bunt was popped up, but Alexander delivered the game winner over the head of the Washington right fielder to end it.

It was the first time a CWS game went scoreless into the ninth inning since 1985.

Mississippi State will now meet North Carolina Monday night, while Washington will face Pac-12 rival Oregon State in an elimination game Monday afternoon.
