The Milwaukee Brewers drafted Jonathan Lucroy's younger brother, David Lucroy, in the 20th round of the MLB Draft to make their mother smile even bigger.

Jonathan is quickly becoming one of the best young catchers in professional baseball and makes the Ragin' Cajuns proud constantly. His younger brother, David, pitched for the Eastern Carolina Pirates, where he was a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American in 2013. With the 601st overall pick, they gave the younger Lucroy a chance to play up to the big leagues with his brother. He has a long way to go, but a chance is all some guys want.

Simply being Luc's little brother won't move him through the minor league ranks. He appeared in 16 games last season, posting a 3-4 record. His 2.16 ERA showed better than his record, but the 6'0"-213 lb right hander has to develop if he ever wants his brother catching his pitches behind the plate.

Most brothers play together until they're forced to go their separate ways...different colleges, different minor league cities, different major league ball clubs. It's almost impossible to pull it off. BJ and Justin Upton play together for the Padres. Before them, Sandy and Roberto Alomar played for the same Cleveland Indians unit. Why can't the Lucroy family be the next to add on the sibling list?
