Ragin' Cajun Softball's trip to face the Oregon Ducks didn't exactly go smoothly, but Head Coach Michael Lotief's team will grow from it.

Coach Lotief wasn't able to make the trip up to Eugune, but he told the media in his weekly press conference that he will travel to Monroe for the upcoming series against the Warhawks. Lotief is a tough man, and he wants to be with his team whenever possible, despite the health issues he is dealing with.

Lotief spoke about his team's resilience, specifically pitcher Jordan Wallace, for bouncing back in the third game of the Oregon series after getting mercy ruled in two straight. They took the top team in the country to eight innings in their last time out, which Lotief thinks they can build off of.

A postseason run is always the plan for the Cajuns, and with a 34-8 record it could easily be in the works again. Lotief even mentioned that he has a feeling they will see Oregon again...

Hear it straight from the Coach's mouth. Before looking at anything else, Lotief and his squad must readjust for a trip to Monroe.
