The Miami Heat will be without one of their "big three" for an indefinite amount of time. According to the team, All-Star power forward Chris Bosh underwent an MRI this morning and learned that he has an abdominal strain that will sideline him indefinitely.

Bosh suffered the injury yesterday in the Heat's Game 1 win over the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Bosh was fouled by Pacers Center Roy Hibbert on a dunk late in the first half. He struggled to rise from the floor after the play, but it was unclear what he injured at the time. ABC later reported that Bosh pulled a stomach muscle.

In 9 regular season games without Bosh, the Miami Heat had a record of 4-5.

Ronny Turiaf and Joel Anthony will most likely combine to pick-up the minutes opened by Bosh's absence.

ESPN first broke the story of Bosh's injury status.
