The Dallas Mavericks are back in Big D.  The team plane landed at about noon at Love Field and now it's time for the team and the city to celebrate their first-ever NBA title.

And, owner Mark Cuban is footing the bill.

Cuban, noting the city of Dallas is in a fiscal crisis, said he didn't think it was right for the city to have to pay for the parade and other festivities and Cuban, in a story on espn.com,  says he'll pay for it himself.

Cuban also drew kudos last night when he asked that the Larry O'Brien trophy be presented to the original owner of the Mavs, Donald Carter.
