LSWA High School Football Polls

8 teams from the Acadiana area are ranked in the latest LSWA high school football polls, which were released on Tuesday, following the completion of the 8th week of regular season action.

One local team is even listed at the very top of their respective poll.

In Class 5A, Acadiana is ranked 7th, while St. Thomas More is also 4th in the 4A poll, with Rayne checking in at #10.

In Class 3A, there are no local teams ranked this week.

In the Class 2A poll, Notre Dame is the top-ranked school, with Catholic High-New Iberia checking in 4th, and Ascension Episcopal at #10.

Finally, in the Class A poll, Opelousas Catholic is ranked #3, while Lafayette Christian is #8.
