It was good times in Tiger Land on Wednesday night as their center-fielder, Zach Watson, was tabbed as one of three outfielders in Division One College Baseball to win a Rawlings Gold Glove for 2018.

Watson was exceptional this season patrolling center-field for the LSU Tigers where he didn't commit a single error in 166 chances. He recorded 160 putouts to go along with 6 outfield assists, and helped turn three double plays this past season.

The two other outfield winners taking home the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards were Troy's Brandon Lockridge and Mississippi State's Jake Mangum.

The past award winners for the Tigers were: Catcher Micah Gibbs ('09), shortstop Alex Bregman and center-fielder Andrew Stevenson ('15).
