The second-ranked LSU Tigers are back in action on Friday, playing host to the Boston College Eagles in a doubleheader, the first two games of a three-game, weekend, non-conference series at Alex Box Stadium at Skip Bertman Field in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The series was originally scheduled for a three-game series, with single games Friday-Sunday, but was changed to a Friday doubleheader and a single game on Saturday, due to the forecast of rain on Sunday.

The two games on Friday marks the third and fourth games of a season-opening 13-game homestand for LSU.

The Tigers are currently 3-1 on the season, after falling the Nicholls St., 6-3, in non-conference action on Wednesday night.
