The LSU Tiger men's basketball team returns to the hardwood tonight, when coach Trent Johnson's squad plays host to the Grambling St. Tigers, in non-conference action.
LSU, who was last in action one week ago, when they defeated North Texas, 67-58, have won seven consecutive games, and are 9-3 on the year.
Grambling St. is still winless on the young season, at 0-9.
LSU is expected to be without the services of guard Andre Stringer once again this evening. Stringer fainted during a December 10th game against Boise St., and has yet been cleared to play.
With Stringer out, LSU's leading scorer is center Justin Hamilton, who is averaging 11.8 points, along with 6.8 rebounds, per game.
Tip-off time tonight, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, is scheduled for 7 o'clock.
