Edgerrin Cooper has already committed to play his future college football with the Oklahoma Sooners, but that's not stopping the LSU Tigers from trying to change his mind.

Cooper, who currently attends Covington High School in St. Tammany Parish, and is ranked by most as the best prep linebacker in the state, was officially offered a scholarship by LSU on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Cooper has already been offered by numerous schools, including Oklahoma St., Louisville, Mississippi St., Colorado St., Houston, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Nevada, Tulane, and Louisiana.

Schedule to graduate high school next spring, Cooper committed to Oklahoma back in June.
