LSU Faces Houston Baptist

The LSU Tiger men's basketball team is back in action on Friday evening, when coach Johnny Jones' squad plays host to the Houston Baptist Huskies, in non-conference action at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge.

LSU was last in action on December 22, when they fell to Marquette, 84-80, to drop to 7-2 on the year, while Houston Baptist has also been idle since December 22, when they lost to Oregon, dropping to 4-7.

The Tigers are led by junior forward Shavon Coleman, who is averaging 14.4 points-per-game, while the Huskies are paced by senior forward Art Bernardi, who is averaging 14.3 points, and 5.5 rebounds a contest.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7 o'clock.
