The LSU Tigers return to action on Saturday evening, playing host to the Jacksonville St. Gamecocks in a non-conference affair at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The game will be televised on ESPNU.

LSU, who dropped their season opener last Saturday, falling to the Wisconsin Badgers, 16-14, is 0-1 on the young season.

Offensively, LSU is averaging 14.0 points, 257.0 total yards, 126.0 rushing yards, and 131.0 passing yards-per-game, while allowing 16.0 points, 339.0 total yards, 134.0 rushing yards, and 205.0 passing yards a contest, defensively.

LSU is led by junior running back Leonard Fournette, who has piled up 138 yards on 23 carries, and gaining 1,953 rushing yards, including 22 touchdowns, a season ago.

Jacksonville St., an FCS school, and members of the Ohio Valley Conference, won their season opener last week, defeating North Alabama, 31-12, will enter the match-up at 1-0.

The Gamecocks are averaging 31.0 points-per-game, to go along with 502.0 total yards, including 230.0 passing yards and 272.0 rushing yards, while allowing 12.0 points, 222.0 total yards, including 170.0 passing yards and 52.0 rushing yards.

Jacksonville St. is paced by senior quarterback Eli Jenkins, who has thrown for 230 yards, while rushing for another 101 yards, to go along with one touchdown.

This will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

Kickoff time is set for 6:30 pm.
