The top ranked LSU Tigers beat up the Kentucky Wildcats in Baton Rouge today by the score of 35-7. Cornerback Tyrann Mathieu set the LSU record for forced fumbles, and scooped up the record setting fumble for a touchdown on the play.

Freshman wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. reeled in 3 passes for 75 yards and a score. Quarterback Jarrett Lee remained the starter, but Jordan Jefferson got snaps, running 4 times for 29 yards and a score. He did not attempt a pass.

The Tiger defense shut down the Kentucky Wildcats, allowing only 155 yards. Kentucky averaged less than 2.5 yards per play. LSU improves to 5-0 on the year, and 2-0 in SEC play. They'll host the Florida Gators next week in Tiger stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:30.
