The Tigers live to fight another day.

Jared Poche became LSU's all time winningest pitcher Wednesday night as the Tigers defeated Florida State 7-4 to remain alive in the College World Series.

Poche won his 39th career game at LSU, breaking Scott Schultz/ all time record.  He hurled eight innings-plus, giving up four tuns, three earned on seven hits.  He walked two and struck out four.

LSU got a three run homer from Jake Slaughter to highlight a five run second inning, and the TIgers added two more in the ninth with RBI from Antoine Duplantis and Zach Watson.

Poche gave up back to back home runs to start the ninth, which cut the lead to 7-4, but Zach Hess came in and struck out the side to end it.

LSU will now face Oregon State, having to beat the Beavers twice to advance.  Alex Lange will get the start for LSU Friday at 2:00.
