The third ranked LSU Tigers hosted the Washington Huskies on Saturday night and treated them to a 41-3 defeat.

Alfred Blue eclipsed the century mark on the ground for the second straight week, going for 101 yards on 14 carries. He also scored the first TD of the game on a 21 yard scamper. Kenny Hilliard (pictured left) rushed for two touchdowns for the second straight week. As a team, LSU finished with 242 yards on the ground.

Tiger QB Zach Mettenberger was efficient through the air. His pin point accuracy resulted in a stat line of 12-18 for 195 yards and a touchdown. It would've been better but LSU receivers dropped 5 balls, while the other incompletion was only inches off the mark. Kadron Boone was the recipient of Mettenberger's score, hooking up on a scoring play of 32 yards. James Wright led the LSU WR core with 5 catches for 75 yards.

Defensively the Tigers were stout. Washington could only muster 183 total yards, and just 26 yards rushing. Freshmen defensive back Jalen Mills earned his first career interception, picking off Huskie quarterback Keith Price in the second half.
