The LSU Tigers have added some experience and depth to their 20182-1019 college basketball team.

The school announced the signings of junior college transfers Danya Kingsby and Courtese Cooper on Thursday.

Kingsby, a 6-foot-1 point guard, averaged 13.3 points and 3.7 assists per game last season, leading the College of Southern Idaho to the junior college national championship game.

Cooper, a 6-foot-9 forward who has three years of eligibility remaining, averaged 10.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for Triton College of Illinois last season.

Kingsby and Cooper join a recruiting class ranked by many as one of the five best in the country, which also includes incoming freshmen Naz Reid, Emmitt Williams, Ja'Vonte Smart, and Darius Days, as well as junior college transfer Marlon Taylor.
