Although the weather forecast isn't promising, it's Homecoming this weekend at the University of Louisiana as the Cajuns prepare to take on UL Monroe on the football field at 4pm.

But there are plenty of things to see besides the game:

The Homecoming Parade rolls at 10aGuim beginning at Blackham Coliseum.  The Parade will head down Johnston Street and turn onto St. Mary, ending at the Alumni House.  Former New York Yankees great Ron Guidry, the lone inductee into the UL Hall of Fame this year, is scheduled to ride in the parade.

Guidry will also be available for autographs at the stadium on Saturday prior to the game.  The autograph session will begin at 2:30pm at the UL Alumni Tent near Gate "A".

In addition, trick or treating will be held from 1-3 at the tailgate areas.  Kids are invited to go in costume into the tailgating and RV area to celebrate Halloween.  Those with tailgating spots are urged to have candy available for the kids.

The Cajun Walk will be held just after 3:30 as always, but beginning this week, there will be a siren which will blare as the players leave the team hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn to alert fans to the impending arrival of the Cajuns.

The Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Celebration will be selling raffle tickets for a brand new Ragin' Cajuns golf cart.

Guidry will be recognized at halftime of the football team, as will the 2005 Sun Belt Conference Championship team.
