Kansas head coach Les Miles recently sent out a note of congratulations to his former team, the LSU Tigers.

Miles took to Twitter on Monday night, following LSU's 42-25 win in the College Football Playoff National Championship, to congratulate the Tigers.

A native of Alyria, Ohio, Miles coached LSU for parts of 12 seasons, from 2005-2016, compiling an overall record of 114-34.

LSU won the 2007 BCS National Championship under Miles, their last national title prior to this season.

Miles went 3-9 in his first year at Kansas in 2019.
