Billy Napier will officially be introduced as the new head football coach of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns on Monday.

The 38-year Napier served as offensive coordinator at Arizona St. this season, after holding down the title of receivers coach at Alabama for four seasons.

Napier also served as offensive coordinator at Clemson, and on the staffs of both Colorado St. and South Carolina St.

Most of you know that.

What you may not know is that Napier, and his family, dealt with a personal issue.

Napier's father, Bill Napier, who he played high school football for in Tennessee, was diagnosed with ALS in the summer of 2013, before unfortunately away back in November..

Below, view a feature from the Pac-12 Network, where Napier talks about how he takes his father's inspiration to the field:

Make no mistake, Bill Napier was a highly-respected, both as a football coach and a man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Napier family, in this difficult time for them.

What's Billy Napier, who was a college quarterback at Furman, like on the practice field?

Finally, back in 2010, when he served as offensive coordinator at Clemson, Napier, a native of Chatsworth, Georgia, discussed some of his philosophies:
