LCA’s Errol Rogers Receives Offer From Tulane

A local prep football star has received an offer from a state school.

Tulane has issued a scholarship offer to Errol Rogers, Jr., a defensive back with Lafayette Christian Academy.

Louisiana also has interest in Rogers, the son of for Ragin' Cajun women's basketball coach Errol Rogers, Sr.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Rogers will begin his senior season in the fall, and is scheduled to graduate next spring.

Rogers, who also plays receiver, caught 25 passes last season for 546 yards and 9 touchdowns.
