A prep basketball standout from the Acadiana area has received an offer from a state school.

Billy Francis, Jr., a guard from Lafayette Christian Academy, in Lafayette, recently received an offer from LSU Alexandria.

LSUA is an NAIA school, which do not offer scholarships, but can offer spots on their respective rosters.

The 6-foot-1, Francis, who transferred to LCA from a school in Arkansas prior to the 2018-2019 high school basketball season, is set to graduate next spring.

Francis has also reportedly been offered by LSU Shreveport, East Texas Baptist, and Missouri Baptist University.

Congrats to Francis on his latest offer.
