Lafayette To Announce New Biking Infrastructure

This Saturday two new permanent bike installations for Lafayette will be unveiled at 8:00am at ceremonies at the Horse Farm. The plans will be presented by Representatives of TRAIL (Transportation and Recreation Alternatives in Louisiana), Rotary Club of Lafayette North, Lafayette Central Park and Vermilionville. The plan calls for kiosks with maps highlighting bike routes throughout Lafayette. The kiosks will include a bench design that will also serve as a bike rack for safe keeping.

The unveiling of the infrastructure plan will be held at 8:00am as the sponsor groups ring the opening bell of the Horse Farm on Johnston Street.
