The Little League world better look out, because Lafayette is rolling again. Add a 9-1 victory onto their recent run through the state.

Through three games, they are outscoring opponents 39-5. After their most recent victory, only two games separate the young men of Lafayette Little League from claiming the state and moving on to the World Series regional in Seguin, Texas. It shouldn't surprise anybody that the talent in Acadiana was high enough to put together a batch of winners. It's just with all the good baseball being played in the state of Louisiana, success at the youth level never goes without a lot of hard work and chemistry.

This isn't the first time the city of Lafayette is poised to make a run in the Little League World Series. Ask Jace Conrad and Austin Robichaux if they still remember their memories. A lot of the young men on this year's squad will move on to be college players and maybe even make the pro ranks. Will this be a year to remember for them before moving on to bigger and better things?

Not only are they winning, they're posting blowouts. The scorelines will tighten as the competition levels continue to rise. For now, give these young men a hand for playing some fine baseball.
